Love God - Love Others
“You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your
soul, all your mind, and all your strength.”
"The second is equally important: ‘Love
your neighbor as yourself.’
No other commandment is greater than
these.”
Mark 12:30-31
What is the Connection between these 2
Commandments:
And as we live in God, our love grows
more perfect. So we will not be afraid
on the day of judgment, but we can face
him with confidence because we live like
Jesus here in this world.
We love each other because he loved us
first.
If someone says, “I love God,” but hates
a Christian brother or sister, that
person is a liar; for if we don’t love
people we can see, how can we love God,
whom we cannot see?
And he has given us this command: Those
who love God must also love their
Christian brothers and sisters.
1 John 4:17, 19-21
The Key
Its all about Love
The Basics of Love
Dear friends, let us
continue to love one another, for love
comes from God. Anyone who loves is born
of God and knows God. But anyone who
does not love does not know God--for God
is love.
1 John 4:7-8
We love each other as a result of His
loving us first.
1 John 4:19
“CHOOSE TO LOVE THE LORD
YOUR GOD AND
COMMIT YOURSELF TO HIM ..”
Deuteronomy 30:20
Let us stop just saying
we love each other;
let us really show it by our actions.
1 John 3:18
Practice these things and
devote yourself to them,
in order that your progress may be seen
by all.
1 Timothy 4:15 TEV
Continue to love each
other with true Christian love.
Hebrews 13:1
How to become Great at
Relationships
1. Commit to grow
2. Learn how Jesus did it
3. Practice the skills
4. Develop the habits
5. Trust God to help
