Blessed are those who hunger and thirst
for righteousness, for they will be
The soldiers gave Him wine mixed with
bitter gall, but when He had tasted it,
He refused to drink it.
Jesus knew that His mission was now
finished, and to fulfill Scripture He
said, "I am thirsty.“ A jar of sour wine
was sitting there, so they soaked a
sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch,
and held it up to His lips. When Jesus
had tasted it, He said, "It is
finished!" Then He bowed His head and
released His spirit.
1 Peter 2:22-23
He never sinned, nor ever deceived
anyone. He did not retaliate when He was
insulted, nor threaten revenge when He
suffered. He left His case in the hands
of God, Who always judges fairly.

He personally carried our sins in His
body on the cross so that we can be dead
to sin and live for what is right. By
His wounds you are healed.
